I joined Darren at Club GK over two years ago. He’s an excellent coach, always patient with us as kids and makes training fun with weird and wacky ways to keep us engaged and learning.
That said, since I joined the JPL last season, I now play on a Saturday. Which means I can’t join my other age group in training at Club GK anymore, although Darren was nice enough to let me join the younger kids on a Sunday. I did that for a while but I just want to play more football so have recently joined Youth Dream Project (YDP) who play on a Sunday. Obviously, that means there’s no space left to join Darren and the lads at Club GK which I’m really gutted about.
I’ve spoken to Darren and he’s allowed me to join the group on a Adhoc basis, if games are cancelled etc so as I’m no longer a full time member its a kind of goodbye and thanks from me to Darren.
