JB1 suffers double fracture in his wrist during Sunday league game for YDP.

The game started off well on the 2nd of March vs Netherton United. YDP being 1-0 up for the first 10 minutes, then came a powerful shot that Jack caught slightly awkwardly and it broken 2 bones in his wrist. Netherton went on to win 6-1 as an outfield player went in goal, but the real down point is obviously the injury.

Consistently referred to as “the best goalkeeper for his age”, he’s a strong, brave goalkeeper and this wont deter him. He’s broken 3 other bones before and it only makes him more determined!

The doctors have said he needs 4 weeks in a splint and then a further 5 weeks of no contact sports, which obviously includes football. That concludes the 24/25 season for JB1.
